pH Testing Course
COURSE DESCRIPTION: pH Testing Course
Master the essential skill of pH testing in cosmetic and skincare formulations with this focused course. pH plays a critical role in product safety, stability, and skin compatibility. This workshop gives you a practical and scientific understanding of how to measure, adjust, and maintain pH in different formulations.
Getting your product tested for pH is costly. Each sample testing cost a few thousand. Knowing how to test pH correctly on your own saves you time and money for all your products. pH stips doesn’t show exact pH, it’s only an indication of the pH range and not the exact pH.
Offer safe and non irritating products to your customer by testing pH of all your products on your own.
Join our workshop to learn all about pH and emulsion stability
In this online live demonstration class, you will learn how to test the pH of various bath and cosmetic products. The pH of a product lets you know if the products you have made will irritate someone’s skin or not. So that you may make any adjustments required, and confidently use or sell your products. Consequently, it is a must if you are making or planning to make bath and cosmetic products. You do not need a science background to test the pH of a product.
We will introduce you to the importance of pH measurements, their ideal range for different products and the concept of acidic and alkaline products. pH strips never give an indication of correct pH, they only give you a pH range but never the exact pH of the product. In order to test the exact pH, a pH meter has to be used.
We will show you how to calibrate a pH meter and how to use it to accurately measure the pH of the product. We will show you how to create an aqueous solution of the products you have made; which is necessary for pH measurement. Finally we will also show you how to adjust the pH value of your product in case the pH of the product is not in the desired range
By the end of this course, you’ll be confident in applying pH testing techniques to ensure your products are both safe and effective for all skin types
